Conceptual and Detailed Design
Our concept design engineer works to ensure the ballast water management system is correctly interfaced into the vessel’s existing system and its design is in compliance with its functional requirement. The revised drawings are then reviewed by the Classification Society to ensure its compliance with the Rules and Regulations. Together with the 3D scanned data, they will be used as the basis for the production design.
The accuracy of the 3D scan output makes it possible to create a precise production package containing drawings that show all foundations, mechanical and electrical components, as well as a comprehensive overview of all the parts needed for installation. Piping, connections and foundations can be prefabricated with high precision, eliminating the time-consuming pipe fitting process.
